The NBS-6040, NymoLabs' custom-made 710W router, boasts the Self-developed Trim Router as its spindle, a groundbreaking feature in the market. Its soft start and constant current drive capabilities allow the spindle RPM to smoothly transition from a slow to a fast speed, ranging from 7000 to 30000, without any stalling.
The NBS-6040 utilizes linear rails and ball screws on every axis, which are typically found in much larger and heavier machines. This design choice enhances the router's productivity and accuracy, while maintaining the rapid movement that the 6040 series has always been capable of, along with added rigidity.
Based on the open-source Grbl v1.1, the NBS-6040 CNC router features a driver with 32-bit chips, enabling a pulse frequency of up to 80 KHZ. It also adds 4-axis linkage motion, MPG, offline control, a 3-pin laser port, an air pump, and other extended functions. The router further supports the transformation of code files from the offline controller to the local memory, ensuring more stable engraving operations.
To provide makers with an enhanced experience, NymoLabs has incorporated a series of expansion function ports in the design of the NBS-6040. These include the fourth-axis expansion (four-axis linkage), MPG, Z probe tool set, air pump port, lighting port, air blowing, and dust boot placement, among others, which will be detailed in the coming releases.
The pre-assembled modular design of the NBS-6040 allows for a quick, 20-minute installation process, requiring only a few steps and wiring of the electronics before starting projects. With a larger working area (23.62" x 15.75" x 4.53"), a 710W trim CNC router spindle, and a 2.8" touchscreen offline controller, the 6040 CNC router is ready to tackle all your projects.
It's worth noting that the ER-11 router is designed specifically for use in CNC machines, so the package does not include any unnecessary bases or jigs. Additionally, the 1/4" collet is not included in the package.
